Nella pagina dove si propone ai produttori di fare una vidoecamera per le scuole, tutte le immagini sono state generate dall'intelligenza artificiale. Attenzione però! Alle nostre richieste di avere figure con bambini che si riprendono tra di loro, uno dei programmi si è rifiutato di produrle e ha risposto: "Le generazioni di immagini non vengono visualizzate perché sono stati rilevati contenuti non sicuri nelle immagini in base ai criteri di content". E alla ripetizione della richiesta ha aggiunto: "Ulteriori violazioni della policy possono portare alla sospensione automatica dell'accesso!"
Prego, per chi ci avete preso? Potreste ripetere? Può essere che il software, in accordo con certe narrazioni correnti in tema di protezione dei minori, abbia riferito automaticamente la richiesta a intenzioni forse non educative, ma maligne e perverse. Chissà quali losche trame si potrebbero sviluppare intorno a bambini virtuali che non esistono! Nel momento in cui l'intelligenza artificiale sta per essere implementata diffusamente nei PC e nei telefonini, cambiano anche le condizioni in cui. non solo come consumatori, ma come cittadini, ci muoviamo tra responsabilità e libertà, e serve stare molto attenti a che non vengano attuate "selezioni dei contenuti" fuori dal nostro controllo, che potrebbero trasformarsi in una vera e propria censura preventiva delle nostre possibili attività con gli strumenti digitali.
